POSITION DESCRIPTION

Oversees the operation and maintenance of infrastructure and systems at BOH facilities and branch properties. Ensures each property has an established preventive maintenance (PM) program and procedures to monitor completion of the work. Fosters continuous improvement to preventative maintenance and engineering procedures. Maintains a long-range capital plan for replacement or repair of key systems and prioritize proposed projects. Develops and manages annual operating expense and capital projects budgets for areas of Engineering oversight. Monitors expenditures against budget, submits supporting details for variance reports and monthly forecasts.

Develops/executes overall facilities systems infrastructure strategy enterprise-wide. This includes development of individual strategic plans for all major facilities in State of Hawaii and West Pacific. Develops and executes an energy initiative component as part of each strategic plan.

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

2. Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience managing critical function facilities, large office buildings and individual commercial and properties with 5 years of management/leadership experience. Minimum 3 years of experience with proposals, financial planning and/or management for facilities.

3. Knowledge of and/or experience with the following:

  • Technical drawings, ability to read/understand technical diagrams.
  • Central plant operations, building management systems (BMS) and energy efficiency best practices.

Under the general direction of the VP & Senior Facilities Manager, the Property Manager is responsible for the overall management and maintenance related to assigned bank properties, consisting of commercial office buildings, with retail and office space, stand-alone & in-store branch bank facilities.
