The activities of BOMA-Hawaii are planned and conducted for the benefit of our members. Flexibility may be practiced when it is necessary to accommodate special situations. The following policies are necessary, however, so that the majority of our members can benefit from participation in luncheon meetings, seminars and social activities:
- The Association normally meets on the second Tuesday of each month. Please check the website for speakers and meeting locations. The annual membership dues will include all monthly events. All other special event fees will be additional to your annual membership dues. Fees may be paid by check, AMEX, Visa or MasterCard.
- Reservations are required for all BOMA-Hawaii function and must be received by the published RSVP dates. BOMA staff must guarantee the numbers of meals to be served 48 hours prior to the event. Those who do not RSVP cannot be guaranteed seating and will be charged a $25.00 walk in fee.
- Cancellation must be made 48 hours in advance. Those who make a reservation but do not cancel 48 hours in advance will be invoiced, since BOMA-Hawaii pays for all meals ordered, whether they are consumed or not.
- Membership in BOMA-Hawaii is by building or company. One representative per entity is entitled to attend at the member price. All others from member companies must pay the guest rate, which is usually $10.00 more per person than the member price. You may, however, wish to add additional people to your building or company membership at a substantial discount on the primary member price. If you would like to add members, call Lilly at 447-1840.
