Tiera Covington is the owner and founder of Integrated Facility Services Hawai'i (IFSH). She was born in Honolulu and graduated from Pearl City High School. She served in the Hawaiʻi Air National Guard for 20 years as a Cyber Transport Systems Technician. Tiera joined ABM in 2001 as the Administrative Assistant. In her last position as Hawaiʻi Branch Manager, she was responsible for the janitorial and engineering operations, where she managed over 300 employees. Tiera then founded IFSI in 2017. IFSH providesjanitorial, landscaping, maintenance and site management services for residential and commercial properties. In just over 4 years, IFSH currently has over 140 employees and services over 80 properties. IFSH placed #6 as Pacific Business News Hawaiʻi’s Fastest Growing Companies in 2021 and was awarded the IREM’s Workplace Environment Award for 2019 and 2020. Tiera is a member of BOMA Hawaiʻi, IREM Hawaiʻi, CAI and the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), where she is serving on the board. Tiera previously served on the BOMA Hawaiʻi Board of Directors from 2010 to 2011 and chaired the BOMA Hawaiʻi Disaster Preparedness Committee. Tiera was recently recognized as an honoree for PBN’s 2021 Women Who Mean Business and PBN’s 2021 Business Leadership Hawaiʻi Business Leader – Small Business.
