International to reduce energy consumption by 30% by 2012. BOMA Hawaii joins 42 other BOMA local and state associations, as well as 27 BOMA member companies that have endorsed the 7-Point Challenge since its launch in July, 2007. Great Tips shared from one of our Sustainability Programs Bill 87 makes it a requirement that all new buildings must meet LEEDS’s certification as a condition to obtain a building permit. It goes into effect January 1, 2010.
